Bids for the design, build and maintenance of a new consolidated justice complex in downtown Indianapolis, USA were submitted on November 21, 2014.
The new facility, named the Marion County Justice Center, will improve the efficiency of the current aging facilities.
Situated on 40 acres, the complex will house a total of 3,400 jail beds, providing an additional 1,000 jail beds, 500 community correction beds as well as house criminal court facilities to ease overflow of courtrooms in the nearby City County Building.
