Windsor-Essex Transportation Partners have submitted their bid for the Windsor-Essex Parkway project, tendered by the Canadian Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure Ontario.
The project involves designing, building, financing and operating the Windsor-Essex Parkway, which includes 11 tunnelled sections, at least 20 interchange ramps, 240 acres of green space and over 20km of recreational trails. Windsor-Essex Parkway costs about CAD$1.6bn to construct 9.5km of highway and on a per kilometre basis is well over five times more expensive than any other highway project in the history of Ontario.
Operis provided financial model due diligence services for Windsor-Essex Transportation Partners.
