On July 31, 2019, a consortium consisting of Sacyr, AECOM and Plaza Construction submitted a bid to Miami-Dade County for the design, construction and operation of a new Civil & Probate Courthouse in Miami, Florida.
This P3 project has been set in motion by the Dade County Authority in order to replace the existing county courthouse, which has stood since 1928. The project includes the construction of 46 jury courtrooms and shell space for an additional four; a parking area; landscaping; and road and traffic control improvements.
Operis provided a formal model audit for this project as part of the bid submission.
