Healthcare services company Clinicenta, part of Carillion, has achieved financial close on a new Surgicentre facility on the 17 April 2009.
The seven-year contract includes developing and running the new facility, which will be built at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage for the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust and Hertfordshire Primary Care Trusts. The new Surgicentre forms part of the NHS Independent Sector Treatment Centre procurement programme.
Barclays provided the senior debt and equity bridge financing for the project. Operis provided financial model due diligence services and tax and accounting advice on the project.
