Operis was pleased to perform a formal model audit of the financial model prepared by EllisDon Capital in support of their bid for a new Community Outpatient Centre in Bayers Lake, Nova Scotia, Canada.
This P3 design, build, financing and maintenance project forms part of the redevelopment of the QEII Health Sciences Centre. In addition to offering a more accessible site for many Nova Scotians who would otherwise have to travel to Halifax for certain medical services, the construction of this centre will allow for the services currently provided at the older Victoria, Centennial and Dickson buildings – located at the Victoria General Hospital – to transition to a new facility ahead of their eventual closure.
Tim Roberts, Manager at Operis based in Toronto, said “We are delighted to have been able to support EllisDon in submitting this bid, especially given the challenging circumstances facing the industry during this time. We wish EllisDon the very best of luck and greatly look forward to building on our relationship in the future.”
