On July 24,2018, Banks Renewables successfully refinanced a portfolio of seven onshore wind assets in the UK with a combined installed capacity of 72MW.
The refinancing package was provided by the National Australia Bank and Santander. The refinancing consolidated the portfolio under the same lenders and replaced the existing debt in five of the seven assets, with the other two assets levered for the first time.
Operis was delighted to again work with Banks Renewables in undertaking the formal audit of the financial model, which included a review of the model’s tax and accounting treatments.
