On February 28th, 2017, Banks Group secured funding from a lending group comprising Macquarie, Santander, ING, National Australia Bank and Rabobank for three onshore wind farms in the UK, these being Kype Muir, Middle Muir and Moor House.
The onshore wind farms, located in Scotland and Northern England, receive revenue at a fixed price under the Contracts for Difference scheme and have a total capacity of 150MW, increasing Banks Group’s renewable capacity from 74MW to 224MW.
