Operis provided a due diligence review of the financial model for Axium Infrastructure in support of its acquisition of Wind Energy Transmission Texas (WETT).
In December 2019, Axium submitted final bids to acquire WETT from Brookfield Infrastructure and PSP Investments. WETT is a 500-mile transmission line located in West Texas and is rate-regulated by the Public Utility Commission of Texas.
It was announced in January 2020 that Brookfield and PSP have agreed to sell WETT to Axium.
