Aspire Defence have made significant improvements to the quality of life for soldiers at the four garrisons, situated across the Aldershot and Salisbury Plain, since the start of the project’s construction in 2006.
As the Ministry of Defence’s largest infrastructure project procured through the PFI scheme, Aspire Defence are set to provide accommodation and training facilities for a total of 18,700 soldiers stationed in the UK by January, 2015. To date, over 518 new and refurbished buildings have already been completed.
Founded by Carillion and KBR, Aspire Defence’s current sponsors include KBR, Infrared, and Innisfree.
In support of this project, Operis provided services throughout the life cycle of the project including an operating model as well as a further updated model to comply with IFRS Accounting.
