Viridor are approaching the end of construction of their state of the art Energy from Waste site in Oxfordshire, England.
Having successfully synchronised with the National Grid, one of the final steps to be put in place before the site becomes fully operational later this year, the site will process around 300,000 tonnes of non-hazardous, post recycling, residual waste. Once operational, the plant will export enough electricity to power around 38,000 homes and hopes to increase the amount of total waste recycled in Oxfordshire by 38%.
To support Viridor’s ongoing operations, Operis were pleased to undertake a full audit of their operating model.
