Amey Ventures Limited have submitted their bid for the Isle of Wight Highways PFI project on 9 May 2011.
The project involves a £260m contract to rebuild and maintain the entire road network of the Isle of Wight, as well as upgrading pavements, cycle routes, grass verges, CCTV networks and street lights. Construction is expected to start on 1 April 2013 and will run for seven years. The maintenance will continue for further eighteen years.
To accompany the bid, OPERIS conducted financial model auditing services including tax and accounting review on behalf of the sponsors.
