Short description of the contract or purchase(s):

This contract is for the management and delivery of the Corporate Health Standard assessment process. The successful bidder will be required to manage the assessment process for each business/organisation engaged across Wales; and to deliver all mock and full assessments. The Client is anticipating approximately 25 mock assessments and 25 full assessments during 2010-11.

The Corporate Health Standard (CHS) is the national mark of quality for health and well-being in the workplace for businesses and organisations employing more than 50 people. CHS awards are available to public, private and voluntary sector organisations that have demonstrated a commitment to improving the health and well-being of their workforce. There are four levels of award available: bronze, silver, gold and platinum, to recognise each development stage reached.

This contract will be available for use by other government departments and associated bodies with the prior written approval of the Authority.
