The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust is currently undergoing a major PFI construction project with 2 new state-of-the-art hospitals being built in Wakefield and Pontefract.

The 2 hospitals will be handed to the Trust in 3 phases over the next 2 years and a 13 week commissioning period will follow after each hand over date:

1. Pontefract Hospital - November 2009;

2. Pinderfields Hospital Phase 1 – May 2010;

3. Pinderfields Hospital Phase 2 – December 2010.

As part of this PFI construction the Trust wishes to procure 2 x Direct Digital Panoramic Imaging Systems, the purpose of which is to provide panoramic dental, tempero-mandibular joint, maxillary sinus and cephalometric images.

The Tender will include delivery, installation, training and maintenance options.

1 system has to be installed in Pontefract and ready for use from 9.1.2010.
