contract or purchase(s): Tube Lines Limited is
inviting expressions of interest from suppliers who wish to be considered for
invitation to tender for a contract for the provision of Occupational Health
Services including advice and expertise on Occupational health and who has a good
understanding of the requirements of the transport industry. The supplier
will manage a 24/7/365 sickness absence line as well as carry out medicals,
vaccinations, health testing, drug and alcohol testing, medication advice,
etc. to Statutory, London Underground and Tube Lines standards. In addition
the service will include the provision of expert advice on all occupational
health matters including health surveillance, proactive health and wellbeing
initiatives and a comprehensive Employee Assistance programme, etc. II.1.6) Common procurement

accepted: No. II.2) QUANTITY OR SCOPE OF THE
CONTRACT II.2.1) Total quantity or scope: There are approximately
2 500 employees within Tube Lines who will benefit from this contract. Estimated value
excluding VAT: 3 000 000 GBP. II.2.2) Options: No. II.3) DURATION OF THE CONTRACT
OR TIME LIMIT FOR COMPLETION: Duration in months: 36
(from the award of the contract). SECTION III: LEGAL,
ECONOMIC, FINANCIAL AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION III.1) CONDITIONS RELATING TO
THE CONTRACT III.1.1) Deposits and guarantees
required: A bankers bond guaranteeing
performance of the contract and / or an Ultimate Holding Company Guarantee
may be required. Details will be given in the Invitation to Tender. III.1.2) Main financing
conditions and payment arrangements and/or reference to the relevant provisions
regulating them: Payment will be in
pounds sterling and will normally be made by means of electronic funds

similar occupational health programmes of a similar size and nature complete
with details of service provided, number of employees, etc. and whether it is

of the company organisation, including a company organisation chart, and an
organisation chart of the research and development and manufacturing
facilities which the supplier proposes to use to develop and manufacture
these products/systems for Tube Lines Limited, — The main product
range of the companies within the Group, — Details of
Accreditation to BSEN ISO 9000 and company policy towards total quality
management, — Financial Status
of supplier including the last three years company accounts and bank
references, — Details of major
customers and sub-contractors world-wide together with details of procurement
policies, — Confirmation
that the members of the Suppliers staff who will manage/administer the
contract and those of the Suppliers staff who will work on London Underground
Limited premises can communicate in both written and oral English to a
standard appropriate to the tasks to be carried out by them, — Confirmation
that any supplies which can be made under a Transaction to Tube Lines Limited
will be capable of continued normal use such that neither the performance nor
the functionality of the supplies or any system or software to which they
relate or on which they are or may be reliant or by which they are or may be
affected in any way prior to, during or beyond 1.1.2000, — Ability to
comply via mandatory and Tube Lines requirements in relation to health and
safety, — Prior consent to
sub-contract any proposed contract will be required from Tube Lines. The
Supplier must advise Tube Lines if the Supplier intends to sub-contract any
part of the contract and provide details of which parts the Supplier intends
