St Paul's Academy will provide education for 1200 11 to 16 year old (approximately 9 300m² GIA) offering a high quality, broad and balanced curriculum. It will be constructed on the site of the existing Abbey Wood Secondary School, Greenwich. The new Academy will be constructed over two levels and is due to open in January 2010 school term. The scope of works for the successful contractor will comprise of the construction of the 2 storey Academy, external works, some off site infrastructure and highways works, fixed furniture, fixtures and equipment, and structured cabling. The contractor will be appointed following a single stage Design and Build procurement process; the contractor will appoint their own design team and take forward the design development from RIBA Work Stage D and the Employer's Requirements.
