Widening of the existing trunk road to current standards. The widening will be generally on line, with widening to the East in rock cutting and to the West on retaining walls. The proposals include for just under 9,000 sq m of new carriageway construction with associated drainage, earthworks, traffic signs, carriageway markings, retaining structures, and hard and soft landscaping together with statutory undertakers diversions.

The scheme will provide 1300m of new single carriageway through the hamlet of Glandyfi and will involve improvements to private accesses and estimated rock excavation of 30,000 cubic m with associated stabilisation works. Appproximately 1,100m of retaining walls will be constructed.

Range: between 7 000 000 and 8000000 GBP.
