At present the Council intends to tender 12 individual Contracts under this Framework Agreement in 2008. Thereafter it is envisaged that a further 11 contracts will be tendered over the remaining years of the Agreement. However, it is emphasised that the needs of passengers to be carried may change throughout the period of the framework agreement. The above should therefore be used as a guide to the Council's current intentions only. The Council does not guarantee to award a particular number of contracts under this framework agreement, or to award any contracts at all.

All applicants for this contract must possess: - A policy or policies of insurance which comply with the requirements of Part VI of The Road Traffic Act 1988, or any statutory modification, amendment or replacement thereof. - Up-to-date Criminal Records Bureau checks for all drivers that may be employed in the fulfilment of any contract awarded to the contractor under this Framework Agreement. If a CRB check for any driver is more than six months old at the start of the Framework Agreement, the contractor must be willing to administer and pay for a new CRB check for that driver. - A PSV Operator's licence, Private Hire Licence or Section 19 Permit that permits them to operate this service.
