David Thomas joined Operis in 2006 as Head of Advisory.
He brings with him over twenty years’ experience concentrated in transport infrastructure, energy, project, regulated utility, and public/private financing.
Previously David was the Director for Corporate Finance of the Strategic Rail Authority, prior to that with Deutsche Morgan Grenfell's project finance department.His experience includes analysis and structuring of corporate and project debt, as well as equity-raisings. Between 1999 and 2006, this involved a leading role in negotiating and shaping the financing framework for the UK’s railway industry.
David was educated at Oxford and the University of Pennsylvania.
