Darryl is responsible for leading analytical teams on a variety of transactions.

Since having joined Operis in 2008, Darryl has built up experience in various modelling and audit projects across a range of different sectors and different countries. Notable PPP projects Darryl has recently been involved with include developing the financial model for the N18 Groenlo-Enschede road in the Netherlands, as well as for the Priority Schools Building Programme, part of the UK Government’s PF2 framework. He has also led teams on auditing models for the Dutch Borssele Offshore Wind tenders, the M11 and N25 road projects in Ireland, as well as tenders for power and utilities in the Middle East, such as the Sweihan Solar PV plant in Abu Dhabi, and the Umm al Hayman wastewater and Az Zour North II projects in Kuwait.

In addition to standard PPP projects, Darryl has also worked on many non-PPP projects. Darryl has led the auditing of models for the acquisition of several student accommodation portfolios in the UK, as well renewables portfolios in the US and the acquisition of energy and waste assets in Poland. He was involved in the review of a pricing calculator for the Green Deal, as well as the model for lenders and investors after the scheme was brought to a close.

Darryl holds a MA in Natural Sciences from Trinity Hall, Cambridge and is a CFA Charterholder.
