NewsOperis works with Kier, HSBC Infrastructure and Bank of Ireland on the Ipswich Treatment Centre PFI Project. Operis provided financial advice to the project funders Bank of Ireland on the £30m PFI project. The PFI contract covers a 30-year concession. The four-storey facility will be built by Kier Eastern, providing Ipswich with a state-of-the-art building on the existing hospital site, and Caxton, Kier's inhouse maintenance contractor will provide FM services throughout the contract life. The centre will include a new A&E department, a critical care centre, a day surgery suite and theatres & beds dedicated to planned or elective care. Grant Thornton advised the project shareholders, Prospect Healthcare.
