China CNR Corporation Limited has submitted a bid to provide rolling stock for use by the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA). The bid involves the provision of trains over a 10 year period and the provision of technical support for these trains for a further 8 years. Financial close is scheduled for 1 July 2013.
